Gold Life is coming...

The Gulf OBP

Posted on March 23 2015

I have mashed up mechs and livery in my head for the better part of a decade. Actually, now that I think of it, I think I proposed an F1 liveried mech-tank to Paul Budnitz sometime around 2002, so make that more than a decade (note to self: dig up that illustration). I've doodled down several ideas over the years but, for whatever the reason, I never got around to actually producing one.

So I find it slightly amusing that when I start leaking photos for this mech/livery design, people go nuts. This is the point, as a self employed designer, where you start kicking yourself for not doing this sooner. Ack, you never know though. You really don't. Some of my favorite designs have been panned by my fans in the past. You never know until you put it out there. My view of what defines my style is completely different from how my fans and collectors would describe my style. Why is that?

But I digress..

So here it is: The Gulf OBP stands 10" tall, weighs in at just over 3 pounds and has rotating ball turrets. Each figure is signed and includes shown accessories. Due to the nature of the materials, some minor differences should be expected in each piece.

The Gulf OBP will be available for 24 HOURS ONLY at www.huckgee.com, for $475 plus shipping, beginning this Thursday, March 26th, at Noon PDT. After 24 hours the Gulf OBP blasts off never available for sale again. So set your clocks. This Thursday. Get some!

Please allow 6-8 weeks for shipping.

Thanks,
Huck
