How do I get my hands on Huck's limited releases?
We announce all of our releases via our newsletter and social media platforms. Fortunately for us, unfortunately for you, the majority of the limited products that Huck releases sell out immediately. In the past this has led to many headaches, upset customers and broken webstores. However, our current store is pretty damn robust (thank you Shopify) and we haven't had any notable concerns. We highly recommend that you sign up for our newsletter here to guarantee you get notified of any and all future releases.
What is a 24 Hour Release?
A 24 hour release is used for limited, pre-order toy releases and means that an item will be available for purchase for only 24 hours. The item, date and time will be announced in advance via our newsletter and it will only be sold within the said 24 hour time slot. After that 24 hours is up, the preorder opportunity is gone forever. As above, we recommend you sign up for our newsletter here to guarantee you get notified of any and all releases.
Where are your toys made?
All of our hand crafted art pieces are made here on the West Coast.
Why crafted locally?
It is our goal to design and manufacture as much as possible locally, here on the West Coast. The drive for this is threefold:
Simplicity - If I want a glass of milk, I don’t order it in bulk 9 months in advance from a factory I've never set foot in, hire a 3rd party to oversee the quality, source an importer and then have it shipped across the Pacific in a slow boat. Instead, I buy my glass of milk from a local store that bought it from a local reputable cow farm within the past week. It’s simple. I like simple. We are designing & manufacturing our products here on the West Coast simply for simplicity's sake.
Quality - With everything designed and crafted locally, we can craft a superior product with far less quality control issues. We can personally sign off on every piece before it is packed for shipment.
Living Wages - Having everything produced at home means we can guarantee a healthy work environment. We do not have to worry about unacceptable workplace conditions (see: sweatshop), underage workers or employees working below minimum wage.
So you manufacture everything in the US?
The majority of our products are designed, sourced and crafted here in the US with the exception of outside products Huck designs in collaboration with other reputable companies.
How long will it take to get my order?
We try our very bestest to ship every order within 1-2 business days. If there is any significant delay we will notify you ASAP.
Do you ship to international addresses?
Yup, we ship worldwide via UPS and USPS. Please contact us directly with any international shipping questions.
What about duties and fees?
Due to the complexity of international laws and taxes, we do not include those fees in orders. You are responsible for any local customs and duties on your order. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If an order is refused, then you are responsible for the original shipping expenses, as well as any additional duties, fees, customs or taxes incurred in shipping.
Do you offer Free shipping?
We offer free domestic shipping on t-shirts, hoodies and prints.
We offer free shipping worldwide on decals, buttons and postcards.
What about returns?
We offer free returns on all domestic shipments.
You can return or exchange any unused or defective merchandise by mail. Returns made within 30 days of the order shipment date will be refunded to the original form of payment.
Can I pick up my order at your studio
No. We run a small shop and work long, odd hours. We generally don't have time to accommodate a studio tour. Plus, we have lots of vicious, blood thirsty, attack dogs on the premises. LOTS.
Can I commission a customized hood-ornament/cake-topper/log/whatever?
Unfortunately no. We simply have too many projects on our plate to be able to take on custom commissions without charging an arm and a leg for the project... and your first born child... and an albino zebra, preferably of the zany zebra variety.
Will Huck sign something for me?
Possibly. Maybe not. Depends what it is, if you're a nice human being and understand what SASE means. Please contact us directly if you would like to send something in for a signature.
